Nicola D’Ascenzo

一、基本资料

意大利籍,博士。华中科技大学生命科学与技术学院教授。

 

二、学术经历

前德国电子同步加速器研究所直线对撞机部研究员(Research Fellow)、俄罗斯科学院应用数学研究所教授资格研究员(Habilitation),美国费米实验室访问科学家。2009年获得德国汉堡大学物理学博士学位(获得第五届汉堡大学最佳博士论文奖)。

 

三、研究方向

主要研究方向为半导体物理硅晶技术特别是硅光电倍增管(SiPM)的开发及应用、高性能计算算法研究、高能粒子探测等。

 

四、科研项目

近年来参与了G8 Research Councils Initiative on Multilateral Research Funding支持的Nuclear Fusion Simulations at Exascale项目,European Union Foundation支持的Intelligent front end signal processing for Frontier Exploitation in Research and Industry项目,US Department of Energy支持的Collider detector FermiLab等多个项目。

 

五、学术著作

现已在Phys.Rev.Lett.,Phys.Rev.D等国际高水平期刊上发表论文230余篇,他引次数2566次,H-Index为28。撰写专著2篇,其中SiPM方面书籍《Photodiodes – Communications, Bio-Sensing, Measurements and High Energy Physics》下载阅读次数超过3700次。
