The summer school at a glance


program

The Summer School is focused on the most advanced technologies in the fields of
semiconductors,
very deep submicron and 3D technologies,
nanotechnology,
advanced packaging and interconnects,
telecommunications,
realtime signal processing,
filtering,
massively parallel computing,
and on the physics motivations that require confronting these technological challenges for building the needed new instruments.

Exploiting Synergies, Cross-disciplinary,
with common goal: Intelligent Signal Processing


Two-tier programme comprising lectures and lab sessions in a variety of cross-disciplinary example applications drawn from the exploration of distant universe, through medical imaging of the human body, to the exploration of the elementary particle world.

Main example applications will be on :
Brain Exploration, Dark Matter & Spatial Projects,
Neutrinos and Future High Energy Physics Machines.


FIRST time in ASIA

-The opening of the second global program of the annual Summer School, covering the complete signal processing chain for building 21st century instruments, will be launched at HUST in Wuhan, China.
- The target audience is M.Sc., Ph.D. and postdoc
-level physicists and engineers.

-Wuhan is the capital of Hubei province, People's Republic of China, and is the most populous city in Central China. It lies in the eastern Jianghan Plain at the intersection of the middle reaches of the Yangtze and Han rivers.
-The proceedings of INFIERI 2019 will be published in Journal of Instrumentation, JINST.
-Before May 10th,the registration fee is 380 USD or 335 EUROs. The fee for Chinese students who need accommodation is 2,600 RMB and who don't need accommodation is 1,000 RMB.
-After May 10th, the fee will be up to 400 USD or 350 EUROs. For Chinese students the fee is up to 2,700 RMB and 1,200 RMB .
